My name’s Robbie Luca. I work for RF Luca Roofing and sheet metal. One aspect that keeps me coming back to structure review is the their ability to just give me really good information that I can pass on to the client.
We were doing a project for Department of Corrections. We had to do a recover, but the roof had a lot of issues beforehand before we got there. We hired structure review to come in and give us a report of the existing conditions. And the report that they generated for us really gave the owner a good idea of what they were going to go up against with change orders, stuff like that. So, they really had a good idea of how much wet insulation they were going to have to replace, so on and so forth. We would have gone into that project without structure review. We would have probably ended up hitting the the owner with a lot of change orders that we wouldn’t have seen coming. And if anybody’s worked with the government before, doing a change order for them is really a big deal. trying to get extra money out of them is like it’s very difficult.
Structura View is beneficial to our company just for the information they can bring to our like to us and to our clients. They do really good job with their reports and Jeff when you need to have somebody go meet a client’s very well spoken and he’s really knows what he’s talking about. Getting accurate data before we start a project is huge. gives you an idea of what you’re going into.
If there’s going to be metal deck that needs to be replaced, any kind of just really helps expose any unforeseen things before you start a project. Having all that data up front gives us the ability to turn in really good bids because we know what all the existing conditions are. You know, you can only core cut a roof and you you get a very small idea of what’s going on. But if you have like a moisture scan done or something like that, then it gives you a lot more information to then pass on to the, you know, the owner.
Hiring structura View to kind of go ahead before we start the project really does save us a lot of time cuz then we can already have all that information ahead of the project and it’s already to the right people so they know what they’re getting uh before we start the project.
