How Is Drone Technology Shaping Insurance Claims and Construction Documentation?

An example of Structura View's building enclosure consulting technology.

Jeff from Structura View talks about how drones and thermal imaging are becoming a well-accepted method in the industry. From insurance claims to property assessments, drones provide cost-effective, efficient, and clear documentation that helps stakeholders make informed decisions.

Whether it’s new construction, ongoing documentation, or insurance claims, working with the right team early in the process ensures you get the best data from day one.

Both Jeff Carrillo from Structura View LinkedIn and Marvin Rosario from Airweb Digital LinkedIn, are using drones as a tool for asset owners nationwide — don’t get left behind!

TRANSCRIPT

Jeff:
Yeah, we’re involved in a lot of insurance claims, both from carrier representation side and for, property owner or policyholder representation. Yeah it’s a well accepted, method for testing that’s, that we see in the industry. It provides a lot of value, it’s efficient, cost effective, and really paints a good, clear picture on, what’s going on sometimes.

Marvin:
So if somebody wanted to get in contact with you and work and get connected with you, do they have to have a specific size roof? Do they have to have — could it be for new construction and construction documentation as well? What are the kind of ways that you see a lot of companies working with you?

And also, what are the ways that you like to work companies with the best? Is it before they start building so that way you build that relationship and get the timestamp verification from the very beginning?
