The value that Structura View brings to us and to our clients is the clarity they provide on how much moisture is in the system and where that moisture is located. Visually, you can only see what’s on the surface. When you’re working with older roofs that tend to have a lot of issues, it’s incredibly helpful to bring in someone who can see what’s happening beneath the surface. Their reports help us communicate to our clients what we truly believe is the best next step.
It’s important for contractors to work with a consulting firm when it comes to things outside the general scope of roofing. Whether it’s understanding what’s currently in place, what should be installed, or how repairs should be approached, having that independent perspective helps the client feel confident. It shows them that the recommendation isn’t just coming from a contractor trying to sell a bigger job. It confirms that the scope truly matches the condition of the roof. And if it’s repairable, then we can move forward with repairs.
